Creative Jewelers has been the Title Sponsor of the Miss UNA Beauty Pageant since 2012. It started with Billy wanting to get involved with the community and the local university, the same one he attended years ago. For the 2012 pageant, each of the contestants designed their own ring, and Billy made the custom designed ring for the winner, a ring made with 14K white gold and diamonds, and featuring amethyst and yellow sapphires to highlight the schools colors, purple and gold. Creative Jewelers has been involved with every pageant since then.

Every year, we start by having the contestants come to the store in the fall time, usually around October-November, so that they can each design their ring. Every lady gets to sit down with our trained designers and gets to create their dream ring, following the same formula as the original by using purple and gold as the focal colors of the ring. Once every contestant has had the chance to stop by, we save every design for the pageant. The pageant is held in January, and the winner of the Miss UNA pageant will have their ring custom made, and presented to her at the Miss UNA Trunk Show at Creative Jewelers, usually around the first or second First Fridays event.
